June 3rd 2008, Anita and I returned home from visiting Teresa, Dan, and the kids. We had stayed there for seven days and these are the photos and videos that we took while we were there. Teresa gave us a scare when she was suddenly rushed to the hospital having complications before we arrived, in which we didn't know if she would recover from. However, you wouldn't know that from looking at these albums. At the time our mother, brother Joe, sister Anita and I (Pam), left to go see her in Portland worried that we were losing her. We are still worried, she is in much pain and is very sick. Please continue to pray for the McNabb & Slatky Family.
We took lots of pictures and this album was created to share them with everyone who wishes to have copies. - For Kitty Lovers!
This was a fun kittens grow up slide show I did, and was a hit for the little kids, they loved this. These kitty's were so special and my Cat, Bambi was such a good and loving mother. I did this slide show for the adopter's. Their names after adopted was Natasha, Unno, Adam, and Frappy. Enjoy

This is a "Happy Valentine's Day" gift I made especially for you.........
I wanted to make a special Valentine slide show for each of you, and started working on this weeks ago. Unfortunately I got sick shortly after and I wasn't up to the task of doing it in the way I first planned. With so many in my family circle, quickly I realized there wouldn't be enough time to do this as everyday was becoming a struggle to get through as it was. Nevertheless, I accomplished to put it all together in one slide show and named it, “My Family Valentine”.
However, late it ends up taking to complete, publish, and email to everyone was still a challenge. To keep from getting too upset with myself about that, I thought about one thing that was most important to me. Maybe your wondering why it is that I do this in the first place, and that's why I am trying hard to explain to all of you what it is.
As most of you know my Lupus has progressed this past year. Things happen to us in our lives that we can't help. This is just one of those things. Yet I find much to be thankful for. My husband who even when it's not been so easy or pleasurable for him, still is by my side helping me deal with this day after day.
THAT'S A BEAUTIFUL LOVE
Knowing that it's not easy for you all to understand my pain. Feeling guilty for not keeping in touch with all of you as I should. Yet not a day goes by that I don't think about each and everyone of you. Not saying how much I love you all so very much to me is unacceptable.
So I thought what better time to tell you how much I love you then on the one day we celebrate love.
AFTER ALL, LOVE IS SO BEAUTIFUL!
A lesson learned that reminded me of this these last several weeks. By my role model, hero, best friend and most importantly my sister, Anita. Out of her love for me and to lift my spirits, she did something very special for me. She paid to have my hair done nice, and bought us tickets to see several of my favorite Christian music bands play live in concert. It was a lifetime memorable experience and....
THAT'S A BEAUTIFUL LOVE!
So when I was choosing what songs I would put to this special Valentine's slide show, there was one song that came to my mind that felt was so appropriate to start with. It's a song that Anita and I heard played by one of the bands we saw last week, “The Afters”.

These are our grandparents, Joe and Katherine Slatky's family photos. Taken in the 30/s and 40's era. I was very excited to be able to share these with all of you. And although there are many in the pictures whom we don't know, it is quite exciting to be able to visualize some of our ancestors. I only took the time to scan the original pictures for now. These are our parents home videos they took in the 60's and 70's. They are oldies and mollies taken on a 8mm movie camera, and recently converted to a CD on DVD. Approximately 1-1/2 hours of old home video which. I figured how to cut to smaller clips, and in some cases I will be cutting the cuts. If you want to download any, I suggest to do one at a time. It's not as easy as downloading photos in a batch. I plan to use these clips in some of my slideshows.
